seafood shows is a noncommercial concert collective doing shows around punk, folk, experimental beats, functioning as a branch of a europa wide far network for diy bands. 2013 it was created as a feminist project with quota on stage. we've been doing diy shows in unknown basements, autonomous centers and some of freiburgs few livemusic bars for 10 years straight. we love this and put our heart in this and are glad that we made some fans and friends on the way.

We believe that everyone at our shows is responsible for themselves and for the co-creation of a respectful atmosphere. If your boundaries have been crossed, or you have experienced or witnessed discriminatory behavior and need support in dealing with the situation, come and talk to us at the bar or entrance. We all speak at least German and English.

We believe that anyone should feel welcome at our shows regardless of social and economic background, sexual orientation, gender expression, skin color and body type. We share anti-capitalist, anti-nationalist, anti-racist and feminist values, and wish that our shows reflect these – as well as our D.I.Y. spirit!
