🎬 Shathaya Movie Series on South Lebanon - fundraiser
Shathaya (Fragments) is a woman-led participatory project based in Lebanon that brings together filmmakers and image-producers to explore the relationship between image, memory, and witnessing within the specific context of the Israeli war on Lebanon since 2023 until the present. This project included a collaborative workshop with the production of short films, in which young women from South Lebanon and the southern suburbs of Beirut create their own video "fragments" using personal objects, testimonies, and archival material 🎥
SfP Freiburg welcomes everyone to join the screening of these short films and invites people to donate money that goes to a Lebanese grassroots organization, helping displaced people in Lebanon ❤️
🗓️ Thursday, November 12 at 6 p.m.
📍 The event will take place at KTS Freiburg (Basler Straße 103)
