(FREE) EXHIBITION 'MutualArt'

Art is political, creating art is political, and access to art is political. With the exhibition “MutualArt“ we aim to present a diverse range of art media and art forms through a collaboration between various groups and individuals in Freiburg!
From lectures, drawings, photographs, concerts, readings, and performances—there’s truly something for everyone!

There is no overarching theme here; instead, the idea is to create an exhibition that is as accessible, autonomous, and intersectional as possible, where the exhibitors themselves decide on their own framework and theme. It is an attempt to showcase art and contributions from, in particular, BiPOC, TIN* individuals, queer people, people with disabilities, and those who face greater barriers to accessing exhibition spaces.

We’re excited to engage in dialogue with you and your loved ones, to experience art together, or simply to coexist in the same space! We want to dream together, share our fears, feel angry, mourn the state of the world, empower one another, and everything in between! We look forward to seeing you!

You can find specific times and events on tacker.fr as well as on Instagram at Hujimaja e.V. 

During opening hours, there will always be at least one person on site whom you’re welcome to approach to let us know what you need to participate as safely and comfortably as possible. There will also be an anonymous suggestion box on site where you can share your thoughts, feelings, feedback, and requests.

Access:

The building is located about 500 meters (approximately an 8–10-minute walk) from the main train station. There are also good options for parking bicycles on-site. Parking spaces are available, but we cannot guarantee how long you’ll be able to leave your car there.

Accessibility:

The restrooms are located on the first basement level of the building, accessible via a staircase, and unfortunately are not wheelchair-accessible; we are currently working on a solution for this.

The exhibition space is located right next to a major road, which means it can get a bit noisy outside. A large lawn next to the building can be used to find some peace and quiet. If needed we can find a way so that you can rest in a studio space at Hujimaja.

Kunst ist politisch, Kunst schaffen ist politisch, Zugang zu Kunst ist politisch. Mit der Ausstellung „

MutualArt“ wollen  durch eine Zusammenarbeit von verschiedenen Gruppen als auch Einzelpersonen in Freiburg ein durchgemischtes Angebot an Kunstmedien und Kunstformen zeigen! 

Von Vorträgen, Zeichnungen, Photographien, Konzerten, Lesungen, Performances ist wirklich alles dabei!

hier gibt es kein übergeordnetes Thema, stattdessen ist die Idee, eine möglichst zugängliche, autonome und intersektionale Ausstellung zu gestalten in der Ausstellende selber über ihren Rahmen und ihr Thema entscheiden sollen. Es ist der Versuch Kunst und Imput von besonders BiPoc, TIN*Personen, queeren Personen, behinderten Personen und Menschen, die einen schwereren Zugang zu Ausstellungsräumen haben zu zeigen.

Wie freuen uns, mit dir und deinen Bezugsmenschen zusammen in den Austausch zu kommen, zusammen Kunst zu erleben oder auch einfach in einem Raum zusammen zu existieren! Wir wollen zusammen träumen, Ängste teilen, wütend sein, über die Welt trauern, gegenseitig empowern und alles dazwischen! Freuen uns auf dich!

Konkrete Uhrzeiten und Veranstaltungen findet ihr auf tacker.fr als auch auf Instagram von Hujimaja EV.

Während den Öffnungszeiten wir immer mindestens eine Ansprechperson Vorort sein, bei der ihr gerne teilen könnt was ihr braucht, um möglichst sicher und wohlfühlend teilnehmen zu können. Vorort wird es auch eine anonyme Zettelbox geben, wo du deine Gedanken, Gefühle, Kritik, Wünsche rückmelden kannst.

Zugang: 

Das Gebäude befindet sich etwa 500 Meter (ungefähr 8- 10 min Fußweg)  Entfernung vom Hauptbahnhof. Auch gibt es gute Möglichkeiten, Fahrräder Vorort abzustellen. Autoparkplätze sind ebenfalls gegeben, jedoch ist nicht garantiert wie lange es dort stehen bleiben darf.

Barrieren:

Die Toiletten sind durch eine Treppe im ersten Untergeschoss  des Gebäudes und leider nicht barrierefrei, dafür suchen wir aktuell noch eine Lösung.

El arte es político, crear arte es político y el acceso al arte es político.

Con la exposición “MutualArt” queremos presentar una diversidad de medios y formas de expresión artística a través de la colaboración entre diferentes grupos y personas de Friburgo.

Desde charlas, dibujos, fotografías, conciertos, lecturas y performances, ¡realmente hay algo para todas!

Aquí no existe un tema general que englobe toda la exposición. La idea es crear un espacio lo más accesible, autónomo e interseccional posible, en el que las propias personas participantes decidan libremente el marco y el tema de sus contribuciones.

Es un intento de visibilizar, en particular, obras y aportaciones de personas BiPOC, TIN*, queer, personas con discapacidad y personas que se enfrentan a mayores barreras para acceder a los espacios de exposición.

Nos hace mucha ilusión encontrarnos y dialogar contigo y con las personas que quieres, experimentar el arte juntas o simplemente coexistir en el mismo espacio. Queremos soñar juntas, compartir nuestros miedos, sentir rabia, hacer duelo por el estado del mundo, darnos fuerza mutuamente y todo lo que haya entre medias.

Durante el horario de apertura, siempre habrá al menos una persona presente a la que podrás acudir para comunicarle lo que necesites para poder participar de la forma más segura y cómoda posible.

También habrá una caja de sugerencias anónima en el espacio, donde podrás compartir tus pensamientos, sentimientos, comentarios, críticas y necesidades.

Acceso

El edificio se encuentra a unos 500 metros (aproximadamente 8–10 minutos a pie) de la estación central de trenes. También hay buenas opciones para aparcar bicicletas en el lugar.

Hay plazas de aparcamiento para coches, pero no podemos garantizar durante cuánto tiempo podrás dejar allí tu vehículo.

Accesibilidad

Los baños se encuentran en la primera planta del sótano, a la que se accede mediante escaleras, por lo que lamentablemente no son accesibles para personas usuarias de silla de ruedas. Actualmente estamos trabajando para encontrar una solución.

El espacio de exposición está situado junto a una carretera principal, por lo que puede haber bastante ruido en el exterior. Al lado del edificio hay una zona amplia de césped que puede utilizarse para encontrar un poco de tranquilidad y alejarse del ruido.

Si lo necesitas, podemos buscar una manera de que puedas descansar en uno de los estudios de Hujimaja.
