Wir laden euch am Mittwoch, den 29. Mai zur kurdischen Küfa im Susi Cafe ein. Gemeinsam wollen wir essen die kurdische Befreiungsbewegung kennen lernen. Die Küfa beginnt um 19 Uhr, wir werden zwei Inputs hören: Einen über die aktuelle Situation in Kurdistan, zudem einen Erfahrungsbericht über kurdisches Leben in der Westtürkei. Vor dem Hintergrund der eskalierenden türkischen Aggressionen in Kurdistan und verstärkten Repressionen in Europa, der Nachwirkungen der Kommunalwahlen in der Türkei im März und der jüngsten Angriffe auf kurdische Medien und Aktivist:innen in ganz Europa wollen wir gemeinsam auf die Situation aufmerksam machen. Unser Solidaritätsnetzwerk zur Unterstützung Kurdistans wollen wir stärken.

We welcome you to Susi Cafe on Wednesday 29th May to sit and eat together, and to connect and build solidarity for the Kurdish struggle. The community kitchen will start at 19.00 and include two inputs. First, we will hear about the current situation in Kurdistan, including updates on the Turkish military aggression in the Kurdish areas of Northern Syria and Northern Iraq. Second, we will have an input about Western Turkey, with first hand experiences about the situation of Kurdish people there. In the context of escalating military operations and repression, the aftermath of the local elections held in march in Turkey, and recent attacks on Kurdish media outlets and activists across Europe, we want to come together to create awareness and strengthen solidarity for Kurdistan.
