Die Universität Freiburg hat internationale Studierende im Stich gelassen. Wenn man derzeit als Nicht-EU-Bürger*in in Baden-Württemberg studieren möchte, muss man fast neunmal so viel bezahlen wie EU-Bürger*innen. Diese Politik spiegelt wider, was die Universität uns damit sagen will: „Es ist schon okay, wenn Ausländer hier sind, aber sie sollen wenigstens reich sein.“
Da wir nicht glauben, dass Bildung davon abhängig sein sollte, ob man das Glück hat, in einem bestimmten Land geboren zu sein, organisieren wir eine Soli-Party für eine Freundin von uns. Sie möchte ihr Studium hier in Freiburg beenden und würde sich sehr darüber freuen, wenn Ihr mit uns feiert! Dafür haben wir ein solides Line-up von Punk bis Baile Funk für eine Nacht vorbereitet, die wir Baile Punk nennen.

Trendstudio Doris (DE)
Genre: Hawaii Toast Punk
Exzessives Rumhängen in Freiburger Kneipen, eine Vorliebe für fragwürdige kulinarische Ideen und ein tiefsitzendes Unbehagen gegenüber den herrschenden Verhältnissen haben Trendstudio Doris zusammengeführt. Und solange niemand den Strom abdreht oder die letzte Runde einläutet, sind sie zweifellos gekommen um zu bleiben.

Mad Kitten ist eine Indie-Punk-Noise-Band, inspiriert von dem Sound, der aus der kreativen Rebellion der Underground-Szene der 90er Jahre hervorging: Sonic Youth, Bikini Kill & Co. Mad Kitten lieben den Punk mit seinem Spirit, seinen Überzeugungen und schnellen Rhythmen, den Garage Rock mit seinem freien, lasziven Touch und verlieren sich gerne in dichten, intensiven, schmutzigen, expressiven und dissonanten Gitarrenmomenten.

Inspiriert von basslastigen Genres liefert elaine eine Selection aus bouncy Drum-Workouts, Dub-infizierten Synthlines und sexy Vocals, die dich garantiert zum Ausrasten bringen. Neben dem Auflegen lebt sie ihre Leidenschaft für Subkultur in den lokalen Crews @sylp.clique und @kultur.sympuls.
Jacuzzi – latin bass
Jacuzzi liebt es unterschiedliche Genres zu mischen. Freut euch auf ein vielfaltiges Set geprägt von hartem Bass, viel Energie und latin rhythm!
D3D4 (1T4L0 & B. God) – baile funk
Direkt aus Brasilien- D3D4 ist das gemeinsame Projekt der brasilianischen DJs b.god und it410 und steht für energiegeladene Sets rund um brasilianischen Funk Bass. Durch die Verbindung von Baile-Funk-Rhythmen mit Techno, House und globalen Bass-Einflüssen entsteht ein explosiver Sound, der die südamerikanische und europäische Clubkultur vereint.

The University of Freiburg has failed international students. Right now, if you want to pursue an education in the state of Baden-Württemberg as a non-EU citizen, you have to pay almost 9 times more than EU citizens. This policy is a reflection of what the university wants to tell us: “We are okay with having foreigners here, but please, at least be rich.” As we do not believe that education should be restricted to one’s luck of being born in a specific piece of land and/or to someone’s financial status, we are preparing a soliparty for a friend of ours who is finishing her studies and would be very excited to have you party with us. For that, we have prepared a solid lineup ranging from punk to Baile funk in a night that we call Baile Punk.

Trendstudio Doris (DE)

Trendstudio Doris is a punk band from Freiburg. The sound is reminiscent of the Neue Deutsche Welle and Ideal's best times. With two demo songs, these four have successfully escaped the sell-out so far. A deep-seated discomfort with the prevailing conditions of the status quo brought Trendstudio Doris together, and as long as no one turns off the power or calls the last shots, they are not going to leave.
Mad Kitten (FR)

Mad Kitten is an indie punk noise band inspired by the sound born out of the creative ferment of the underground scene of the 90s: Sonic Youth, Bikini Kill & co. Mad Kitten loves punk with its spirit, convictions, and fast rhythms, garage rock with its free, lascivious touch, but also loves noise, indulging in moments dense, intense, dirty, expressive and dissonant guitars.

D3D4 (1T4L0 & B.God) - baile funk
Straight out of Brazil, D3D4 is the joint project of DJs b.god and it410, delivering high-energy sets centered on Brazilian Funk Bass. Blending baile funk rhythms with techno, house, and global bass influences, the duo creates explosive dancefloor experiences that fuse South American and European club cultures.
