Die Bagger stehen direkt vor Lützerath. Diesen Herbst will RWE und die Landesregierung Lützerath dem Erdboden gleich machen. Lützerath ist eins der 6 bedrohten Dörfer im rheinischen Kohlerevier. Wie das gallische Dorf liegt es schützend vor den anderen Dörfern. Mit der Zerstörung von Lützerath sollen Fakten geschaffen werden, bevor das Enteignungsverfahren vom letzten Bauern im Dorf abgeschlossen ist. Dabei ist ganz klar, wenn wir die Klimakrise begrenzen wollen, muss hier Ende Gelände sein. In Lützerath wird die 1,5 Grad Grenze verteidigt. Zusammen mit den Menschen die schon jetzt durch Baumbesetzungen, Kultur und Widerstand Lützerath mit Leben füllen, werden wir auch nach der Wahl unsere Stimmen erheben. Die nächste Regierung kommt an unserem X nicht vorbei.
In der Veranstaltung wird es Infos zu Kohleabbau, Lützerath und den bedrohten Dörfern und den Aktionen geben. Zudem gibt es Infos zu organisatorischen und rechtlichen Hintergründen zur Aktion, sowie die Möglichkeit zur Bezugsgruppenfindung. Da es keine von uns organisierte gemeinsame Busanreise aus Freiburg geben wird, könnt ihr die Veranstaltung auch nutzen um euch für eine gemeinsame An-/ Abreise zu vernetzen.

The diggers are right in front of Lützerath. This autumn RWE and the state government want to raze Lützerath to the ground. Lützerath is one of the six threatened villages in the Rhenish coalfield. Like the Gallic village, it lies protectively in front of the other villages. The destruction of Lützerath is intended to create facts before the expropriation proceedings of the last farmer in the village have been completed. It is quite clear that if we want to limit the climate crisis, this must be the end of the road. In Lützerath, the 1.5 degree limit is being defended. Together with the people who are already filling Lützerath with life through tree occupations, culture and resistance, we will also raise our voices after the election. The next government will not get past our X.
At the event, we will give you infos about coal, Lützerath and other endangered villages and the (political) action and blockades. There will also be an input about the legal situation surrounding the action and there will be a possibility to find an affinity group. Because there won’t be a bus from Freiburg organized by us, you can also use the event to connect with people about the journey to/from Lützerath.
