„Water“ ist G’emmas neuester Track: Irgendwo zwischen Soul, RnB und Hiphop ist er das erste Release aus ihrer kommenden EP („Types of Water“). Die Sängerin und Pianistin aus Berlin schreibt schon lange Musik – Soul, Jazz, Pop – und studiert aktuell Jazzgesang in Osnabrück. Während ihrer Zeit in Freiburg hat sie die EP, ihr erstes größeres Projekt, aufgenommen. Das Releasekonzert in Freiburg zu veranstalten ist also keine zufällige Wahl.
Produziert hat G’emma (Emilie Nguimba) die gesamte EP zusammen mit Dowakee und Quintin Copper – für den Titeltrack haben Dowakee und der Freiburger Beatproduzent Sumo.uno den Beat produziert. Vor und nach dem Konzert gibt es DJ-sets von Quintin Copper, Dowakee und anderen DJs.
„Water“ is G’emmas newest track: Somewhere between Soul, RnB and Hiphop, it’s the first release out of her upcoming EP („Types of Water“). The singer and pianist from Berlin has been writing music for a long time – Soul, Jazz, Pop – and is currently studying jazz vocals in Osnabrück. During her time in Freiburg she recorded the EP, her first bigger project. Playing the concert for the release is therefor no random choice.
G’emma (Emilie Nguimba) produced the EP together with Dowakee and Quintin Copper. For the title track she also collaborated with sumo.uno, a beatmaker from Freiburg. Before and after the concert, Quintin Copper, Dowakee and other DJs will play DJ-sets.
