Das europäische Grenzregime mordet an den Außengrenzen. Täglich verenden Leben, Träume und Hoffnungen im Mittelmeer, während die Nationalstaaten wegsehen, neue Deals mit Diktatoren aushandeln oder das EU-Asylrecht verschärfen. Das Handeln der verantwortlichen Politiker*innen ist schlicht und ergreifend rassistisch. Somit bleibt der Versuch, sicheren Fluchtrouten und Seenotrettungsmaßnahmen zu etablieren, viel zu oft an Akteur*innen der Zivilgesellschaft hängen, die dafür sogar kriminalisiert werden!
Die Seapunks sind einer dieser zivilgesellschaftlichen Akteur*innen, und ihr erstes Schiff, die SeaPunk I, ist seit letztem Sommer im Mittelmeer im Einsatz. Allerdings kostet es verdammt viel Geld, ein Seenotrettungsschiff in Standt zu halten Daher gehen sämtliche Einnahmen an diesem Abend direkt an die Seapunks.
Kommt vorbei und seid laut gegen ein System, das immer weiter nach rechts rückt! An diesem Abend stehen wir solidarisch an der Seite von Menschen auf der Flucht und für eine bessere Welt.
Ab 19.00 stärkt uns die Sea Eye Freiburg mit einer veganen KÜFA für den Abend. Ab cirac 20:30 gibt es dann Dark Post-Pop von véto noir, Polit-Punk/Folk vom Unordnungsamt und Schlager-Ska-Punk von den Heavy Holes. Danach gibt es noch bis tief in die Nacht elektronische Beats von der Rave AG. Also ein voller Abend für eine gute Sache.
Barrierefreiheit ist in der KTS leider nicht gegeben, die Venue ist nur über eine Treppe zu erreichen.
Geraucht wird an dem Abend NUR draußen.
Es wird kein Nebel geben.
Line-Up:
Véto Noir (Freiburg/Dark Post-Pop):
Gerne subtil wütend und melancholisch, wavige Akzente und repetitiv. Da, wo der Popsong aufhört und der dunkle Sound seine Türen öffnet, bewegt sich véto noir zwischen postpunkartiger Kulisse und darkpoppigen Beats. Gelassen und wuchtig zugleich.
Unordnungsamt (Würzburg/Punk, Folk):
Das Unordnungsamt hat keinen Bock - auf Law & Order, auf schnöde Regeln, klare Grenzen, auf Bürokratie und Bühnen voller Pimmel, Karrieren und Krisen, auf Stereotype und's System. Ob sie GEGEN all das Musik machen, oder viel mehr FÜR alles andere Schöne hier - das wissen sie selber nicht.
In seinem ganzen Wesen pfeift das Unordnungsamt auf - äh auf so ziemlich alles: 6 Menschen, auf Augenhöhe, ohne Peil und ohne Plan, dafür aber mit Akkordeon, E- Gitarre, Klarinette, Drums, Bratsche, Banjo und Bass, musizieren zwischen Punk, Pop, Folk, Rock und Ekstase durch die volle Bandbreite der Empfindsamkeiten und mit der Vision, die Loit tanzen zu lassen.
Heavy Holes (Würzburg/Ska, Schlagerpunk):
Die HEAVY HOLES definieren ein völlig neues Genre: Schlagerpunk.Schnelle, punkige Musik mit Einflüssen von Ska, Rap und Grunge, in der eingängige Trompetenmelodien und Grölrefrains schlagermäßig zum Mitsingen für Freiheit, Solidarität und Klimaschutz einladen. Sieben Faultiere sind bereit Regeln zu brechen, den Status quo herauszufordern und eine solidarische Gesellschaft durch Oden an Billigbier und Sekt, eine fiesta antinational oder ein Leben in Anarchie tanzend mit euch zu schaffen - alles was sie wollen ist nur knutschen und Spaß.
After Show: Rave AG
Seit inzwischen mehr als 3 Jahren in der Freiburger Rave-Kultur unterwegs, hat sich die Rave-AG auf dunklen, treibenden Minimal-Techno zur Peaktime spezialisiert. Techhouse, Downtempo und gelegentliche Disco-Einspieler zur passenden Zeit, runden dabei das musikalische Konzept ab. Der angestrebte Eskapismus positioniert sich dabei klar gegen Rechts und macht sich stark für einen diskriminierungsfreien Safespace.

The European border regime is killing at the external borders. Lives, dreams, and hopes perish in the Mediterranean daily, while nation-states look away, negotiate new deals with dictators, or tighten EU asylum law. The actions of the responsible politicians are simply racist. Thus, the attempt to establish safe escape routes and rescue measures all too often falls on civil society actors, who are even criminalized for it!
The Seapunks are one of these civil society actors, and their first ship, the SeaPunk I, has been in operation in the Mediterranean since last summer. However, maintaining a search and rescue ship costs a damn lot of money. Therefore, all proceeds on this evening go directly to the Seapunks.
Come by and be loud against a system that keeps moving further to the right! Tonight, we stand in solidarity with people on the move and for a better world.
From 7:00 PM, Sea Eye Freiburg strengthens us with a vegan dinner for the evening. From around 8:30 PM, there will be Dark Post-Pop by véto noir, Polit-Punk/Folk from Unordnungsamt, and Schlager-Ska-Punk from Heavy Holes. After that, electronic beats from Rave AG will keep us going into the night. So, it's a full evening for a good cause.
Unfortunately, there is no accessibility at KTS; the venue is only accessible via stairs.
Smoking will only be allowed outside on this evening.
There will be no fog.
Line-Up:
Véto Noir (Freiburg/Dark Post-Pop):
Subtly angry and melancholic, with wavy accents and repetitiveness. Where the pop song ends and the dark sound opens its doors, véto noir moves between post-punk scenery and dark-pop beats. Calm and forceful at the same time.
Unordnungsamt (Würzburg/Punk, Folk):
The Unordnungsamt doesn't care - about law & order, mundane rules, clear boundaries, bureaucracy, stages full of dicks, careers, and crises, stereotypes and the system. Whether they're making music AGAINST all of that, or much more FOR all the other beautiful things here - they don't know themselves.
In its entire essence, the Unordnungsamt whistles - uh, pretty much at everything: 6 people, at eye level, without direction and without a plan, but with accordion, electric guitar, clarinet, drums, viola, banjo, and bass, they make music between punk, pop, folk, rock, and ecstasy through the full spectrum of sensitivities and with the vision to make the Loit dance.
Heavy Holes (Würzburg/Ska, Schlagerpunk):
The HEAVY HOLES define a completely new genre: Schlagerpunk. Fast, punky music with influences from ska, rap, and grunge, where catchy trumpet melodies and chanting choruses invite you to sing along for freedom, solidarity, and climate protection in a schlager style. Seven sloths are ready to break rules, challenge the status quo, and create a solidary society through odes to cheap beer and sparkling wine, an anti-national party, or a life in anarchy - all they want is to kiss and have fun.
After Show: Rave AG
For over 3 years now, part of the Freiburg rave culture, Rave AG has specialized in dark, driving minimal techno for peak time. Tech-house, downtempo, and occasional disco tunes at the right time round off the musical concept. The desired escapism clearly positions itself against the right and advocates for a discrimination-free safe space.
