The Science Pub Quiz on June 15 at 8 p.m. (held in German) promises entertainment with a cold drink of your choice - as long as you serve it to yourself in front of your computer. Scientists from the CIBSS and the Max Planck Institute for Immunology and Epigenetics , who also work closely together in other ways, have come up with questions that provide surprising insights - for example, into the life of brewer's yeasts or the human immune system. With a little knowledge of biology (do you know what a cell is?) and a lot of fun, you can take part: up to five people can compete as a team. Real prizes await the winning teams. The quiz will be moderated by science communicator Mathilde Bessert-Nettelbeck and her guests from the two research institutions.

Das Science Pub Quiz am 15. Juni um 20 Uhr verspricht Unterhaltung bei einem Kaltgetränk eurer Wahl - sofern ihr es euch vor dem Computer serviert. Wissenschaftler*innen der CIBSS und des Max-Planck-Instituts für Immunologie und Epigenetik, die auch sonst eng zusammenarbeiten, haben sich Fragen ausgedacht, die überraschende Einblicke gewähren - zum Beispiel in das Leben von Bierhefen oder das menschliche Immunsystem. Mit ein wenig Wissen über Biologie (weisst du, was eine Zelle ist?) und viel Spaß könnt ihr mitmachen: Bis zu fünf Personen können als Team antreten. Auf die Siegerteams warten echte Preise. Moderiert wird das Quiz von Wissenschaftskommunikatorin Mathilde Bessert-Nettelbeck und ihren Gästen aus den beiden Forschungseinrichtungen.
