The next In-Store concert at Unicorn Music will be the Irish folk band Tangled Twigs on Saturday April 27th at 4 pm. The Freiburger group mixes original songs and ballads with traditional reels, jigs and hornpipes. The songs from the “Green Island” are typical in their mixture of melancholy, dry humor and the lust of playing and dancing.
As always and forever … there will be a jam session following the concert. So, bring along your instruments and your dancing shoes and join in the fun !
Die Freiburger Gruppe „Tangled Twigs“ macht Irish Folk. Sänger und Gitarrist ist Paddy Tinsley, ein irischer Busker der alten Schule. Dazu am Fiddle: Ros Schmidt. Banjo, Mandoline und Gitarre: Thomas Szejnmann. Bass und Percussion: Tom Brünle. Es gibt traditionelle und eigene Lieder und Balladen sowie reels, jigs und hornpipes, mit der auf der grünen Insel üblichen Mischung aus Melancholie, trockenem Humor und Lust auf Tanzen und Spielen.
