Workshop-Reihe "Moderationsskills für Gruppen"
Hallo liebe Einzelpersonen, selbstorganisierte Gruppen und Kollektive,
wir sind ein Zusammenhang von Leuten, die selbst in linken und queeren Projekten verortet sind und sich in verschiedenen Moderationskollektiven organisieren (Nemo, MüG, MiKo, KoKo). Wir begleiten Gruppen, Bündnisse und Projekte in angespannten Phasen durch Moderation und Mediation, aber auch als Prozessbegleitung über längere Phasen der Entwicklung hinweg, z. B. Arbeitskollektive und Hausprojekte in Gründung.
Darüber hinaus entwickeln wir Workshops, um uns selbst und andere weiter zu bilden und dabei mitzuwirken, dass sich Kommunikationsstrukturen als wichtiger Bestandteil von Sorgearbeit in der Szene verbreiten können.
Aus der Beobachtung heraus, dass die Selbstorganisation gemeinschaftlicher Strukturen und Lebenswelten bisweilen herausfordernd ist entstand die Idee, ein Workshopangebot für Leute aus sozialen Bewegungen, linken Gruppen und emanzipatorischen Projekten zu
entwickeln.
Workshop-Reihe „Moderationsskills in Gruppen"
Wir planen zwei aufeinander aufbauende Wochenenden, die relativ zeitnah an verschiedenen Orten im deutschsprachigen Raum statt finden werden.
1. „Moderation in Gruppen"
Am ersten Wochenende möchten wir zusammen mit euch überlegen, welche Funktionen Moderation in Gruppen haben kann, z.B. in Bezug auf Selbstsorge und Präventionsarbeit, und welche Methoden und Formate sich gut dafür eignen.
Wir wollen uns auch mit Gruppendynamiken und Hierarchien in selbstorganiserten Zusammenhängen auseinander setzen und den Spagat zwischen Anspruch und Wirklichkeit untersuchen.
2. „Konflikt(moderation) in Gruppen"
Für alle, die sich intensiver mit Moderation, Begleitung von Gruppen und Prozessen beschäftigen wollen, bildet dieses erste Wochenende den Auftakt zu einem zweiten Seminarwochenende, das wir nutzen möchten, um mit euch über eure Erfahrungen mit Konflikten in Gruppen zu sprechen und zu schauen, was es braucht, um gut damit umgehen zu können. Beispielhafte Fragestellungen sind: Wie gehe ich als Moderator*in mit
Konflikten um? Was kann ich unter einem Konflikt verstehen? Wie gehe ich mit eskalierenden Verhaltensweisen und Dynamiken um? Welche Rolle spielen Privilegien, Hierarchien und soziale Erwartungen dabei? Gibt es wiederkehrende Mythen und Tabus in unseren Kontexten?
Im Mittelpunkt beider Workshops stehen Erfahrungen, die ihr in Plena und anderen Gruppensitutionen macht. Wir wollen praxisorientiert und auf Augenhöhe mit euch arbeiten und euch Raum geben, euch in verschiedenen Rollen auszuprobieren.

Beide Workshops finden in Freiburg i.B. statt. Die Teilnehmendenzahl ist auf 15 Leute begrenzt. Uns liegt Barrierefreiheit in mehrfachem Sinne am Herzen: Übersetzung, rolligerechter Veranstaltungsort, .... - bitte lasst uns wissen, welche Rahmenbedingungen ihr braucht. Wir versuchen das möglich zu machen.
Für Leute von außerhalb können wir helfen, Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten zu organisieren.
Zur Finanzierung: Wir versuchen im Moment eine externe Finanzierungsmöglichkeit zu finden.
Gelingt uns dies nicht, beträgt der Teilnehmendenbeitrag nach Selbsteinschätzung 100 - 250 Euro pro Wochenende. Je mehr Fördermittel wir auftreiben, desto günstiger wird es. Da es am Geld aber auch nicht scheitern soll, kannst du uns ansprechen, wenn das für dich gar nicht möglich ist.
Bitte melde dich bis zum 25.03.2019 unter the-heart-of-us@riseup.net zu einem oder beiden Workshopwochenenden verbindlich an oder schreib uns eine Mail mit deinen Rückfragen. Genauere Infos und inhaltliche Details schicken wir dir und euch dann mit der Vorbereitungsmail in der ersten Aprilwoche.
Solltest du an dem Datum verhindert sein oder interessierte Menschen an anderen Orten kennen: Im Frühjahr/ Sommer 2019 wird es diese Art von Workshops an mehreren Orten geben: Berlin, Halle/ Leipzig, Dresden, NRW. Wir können euch an die betreffenden Veranstalter*innen weiter leiten.
Falls du plötzlich doch noch absagen willst/ musst, schreib uns bitte so früh wie möglich, damit wir anderen zusagen können.

Workshop Series "Facilitation Skills for Groups"
Hello dear people, self-organized groups and collectives,
we are a network of people who are located in lefty and queer projects and organize ourselves in different facilitation collectives (Nemo, MüG, MiKo). We give support to groups, alliances and projects during tense or rough times through means of facilitation, mediation and process support in longer periods of development/ change, e.g. building up a working collective.
Moreover we develop workshops to educate ourselves and others. And are taking part in making communication structures more known and applicable in the scene as we see it as an important ingrediant of care work. Having observed that the self-organization of communal structures and living environment can be quite challenging at times, the idea came up to create a workshop series for people engaged in social movements, left groups and emanzipatory projects.
Workshop Series „Facilitation skills for Groups"
We are planning two consecutive weekends that will happen in different places in the german speaking area relatively prompt to each other.
1. „Facilitation in Groups"
On the first weekend we would like to reflect all together which functions facilitation in group has for you, e.g. concerning selfcare and prevention work, and which methods and formats fit your needs.
Furthermore we want to take a conscious look on group dynamics and hierarchies in self-organized networks, and explore the balance between ideal and reality.
2. „Conflict(facilitation) in Groups"
For all who wish to take it to a deeper level in facilitation and the support of groups and processes after the groundwork first weekend workshop, there will be a second training weekend. On this second weekend we would like to talk about your experiences with conflicts in groups and look at what you need in order to find good ways and strategies to deal with conflicts in groups.
Exemplary questions are: How do i deal with conflicts as a facilitator? What defines a conflict for me? How do i deal with escalating behavior and dynamics? Which role do priviledges, hierarchies and social expectations play in a conflict? Are there reoccuring myths and taboos in our contexts?
Central to both workshops are the experiences you have made during plenaries and other group situations. We want to work practice-oriented, on eye-level and make space for you to experiment with different roles.

Both workshops will take place in Freiburg i.B. (Germany).
The number of participants is limited to 15 people. Accessibility is important to us – in multiple aspects: translation, wheelchair accessible event space, ... - please let us know which framework conditions work well for you. We try to make things possible.
For people from outside the city, we can assist to organize sleeping spots.
About the financing:
We are trying to find external funding. If we don't succeed the participant's fee will be 100 – 250 Euro per weekend self-assessment. The more funding we can aquire the more we can reduce the fee. But because it shouldn't fail on the money issue, come talk to us if you
cannot afford it at all.
