SNEERS. are a two-piece music project formed in Berlin in early 2013 by singer-songwriter and guitarist M.G. Blaankart and drummer Leonardo Oreste Stefenelli.
They recorded their 3rd LP ‘ HEAVEN WILL RESCUE US, WE'RE THE SCUM, WE'RE IN THE SUN’ in Berlin in January/ February 2018, with the studio collaboration of Kristof Hahn (SWANS) at the lap-steel guitar. This work, which was anticipated with a play on BBC Radio 6 Music on Stuart Maconie's Freak Zone, was released by Manchester-based label God Unknown Records on September 21st, and was presented through a very extensive tour all across Europe and UK, with a presentation showcase at Rough Trade's Recommends Night.
