Aquarell-Workshop
When painting freely in nature, we can really let the watercolor flow by using plenty of water.
This helps us let go, as the patches of color seem to blend together in an uncontrollable way, and we’re free to remain curious about what will emerge. Painting by instinct frees us from high expectations, allowing us to engage even more deeply with the colors and nature around us, connecting with them to find our own personal expression. Without a preliminary sketch, we dive right into observing, mixing colors, and applying the paint. Through various color studies, we develop a feel for watercolor as a medium and learn how to create color gradients that we can use for perspective as well as for depicting the horizon, vegetation, and similar elements. Above all, it’s about the joy of painting.
