Join us in KTS on Wednesday, June 24th from 6pm to get creative together! We want to offer a space for expression and will offer materials and info on how to create zines. No prior knowledge required.
📖 At the event we will also sell zines from Gaza (www.coastallinespress.com) on donation basis
The making of zines has always been an act of resistance. From the very first “mini magazines” made as part of the Harlem renaissance, to those used in the third wave feminist movement, to the health advice pamphlets distributed in the queer community during the AIDS epidemic, zines have been a cornerstone of resistance movements 📚
You can use the event to create your contribution to our collaborative zine on resistance. Until 31.07.2026, submissions are open to our collaborative zine in form of stories, poems, collages etc. on the topic of resistance. Get creative and send us your artworks and thoughts 🎨 📝 💭
