nervousdata is Jasmin Meerhoff, an artist and researcher who writes, produces and performs computer-aided poetry, electronic music and other works – with a particular interest in the means of production of technology and its conditions of use. In her work she mainly uses Open Source Software and small DIY devices. During her improvised audiovisual Live Coding performances the computer becomes a digestive machinery for text, images and sound: slicing, grinding and pressing. Power-Cut-Ups and Lumpen Poetics.
