Taio Boumort has been on stage since the late 80s, first in garage rock bands, then leading Gran Panico Sur (Barcelona's hardrock cult band) throughout the 90s. He started his solo career with the turn of the century, mixing projects in Catalan and English, in a more Americana / alt-country / roots rock orientation, following the path of American singer-songwriters like Steve Earle or Will Johnson.
A nomad on the road, during the last 15 years, Taio has been living and/or playing in Spain, Ireland, Germany, the Netherlands, Hungary, Switzerland, Austria, Poland...
He has been living in Germany since 2014 and tours the country regularly both solo and with his band Elk&Bearhead.
