Halloween Soliparty KaTS

unter dem Motto „365 Tage Horror, das Grauen hat System“ möchten wir euch zur Halloween Soliparty in der
KaTS einladen. Der Abend soll neben einer fetzigen Party ebenso ein Ort der Solidarität mit Betroffenen der
diskriminierenden Bezahlkarte sein. Lasst uns gemeinsam gegen den realen Horror des Systems angehen, nicht
nur in der Halloweennacht, sondern auch an allen Tagen.
Um 19.30 Uhr findet auf dem Gelände der KaTS ein informativer Input statt. Dieser wird durch die Initiative
„Bezahlkarte stoppen Freiburg“ organisiert und es gibt Redeanteile von Betroffenen. Ab 19 Uhr sind hierfür die
Türen geöffnet.
Ab 22.00 öffnen wir den Einlass für die Party. Auf 2 floors möchten wir mit euch mit fantastischer Auflegerei,
hip hop artists und einer drag Show bis 4.00 feiern.
Der Eintritt ist auf Spendenbasis. Alle Einnahmen gehen an die Initiative „Bezahlkarte stoppen“
Uns ist wichtig dass die Party ein Ort ist an dem sich alle wohlfühlen. Das Respektieren unseres Partykonsens
ist Vorraussetzung für die Teilnahme:
• Kein Platz für diskriminierendes oder grenzüberschreitendes Verhalten!
• Only Yes means Yes! Konsens ist key und achte auch auf potenzielle Grenzüberschreitungen in deiner
Sprache
• Passt aufeinander auf und wendet euch an unser Awarenessteam sollte es euch selbst nicht gut gehen
oder ihr beobachtet grenzüberschreitendes Verhalten einer anderen Person gegenüber. Die ganze Nacht
wird das Awarenessteam vor Ort und ansprechbar sein
• Bitte achte auf deinen eigenen Konsum und gehe nicht über deine Grenzen. Das Haus ist an dieses
Tag rauchfrei, auch auf den dancefloors, draußen rauchen ist okay aber checke bitte vorher bei deinem
Umfeld ein
• Herbstzeit=Erkältungszeit. Bitte komme nur wenn du symptomfrei bist um andere nicht anzustecken
• Du musst nicht kostümiert kommen! Wenn du dich aber verkleiden möchtest achte bitte auf folgendes:
Die Kultur eines Menschen ist kein Witz oder Trend! Check your privileges Verkleide dich nicht als
etwas, wofür andere diskriminiert werden und vermeide die Darstellung realistischer Wunden oder
potenziell triggernden Berufe (Polizei, Militär, Jagd) Kostüme dieser Art sind hier unerwünscht.

• Es besteht überall Foto-& Videoverbot.
• Es gibt Rückzugsräume auf der oberen Etage (Café & Awarenessraum).

under the motto “365 Days of Horror – The System Is the Real Nightmare”, we’d like to invite you to our
Halloween solidarity party at KaTS! Alongside a great night of partying, the event is also intended to be a space
for showing solidarity with people affected by the discriminatory payment card system. Let’s stand together
against the real horrors of this system – not just on Halloween night, but every single day.
At 7:30 PM, there will be an informative talk at the KaTS organised by the initiative Bezahlkarte stoppen
Freiburg (Stop the Payment Card Freiburg). People directly affected by the payment card system will also have
the opportunity to speak. Doors open at 7:00 PM.
From 10:00 PM, the doors open for the party. We’ll be celebrating until 4:00 AM across two floors, with
fantastic DJ sets, hip-hop artists and a drag show.
Admission is donation-based. All proceeds will go to the initiative Bezahlkarte stoppen (Stop the Payment
Card).
It’s important to us that this party is a place where everyone feels comfortable and safe. Respecting our party
agreement is mandatory for taking part:
• No room for discriminatory behaviour or violations of personal boundaries!
• Only Yes means Yes! Consent is key. Please also be mindful of potential boundary violations in your
language.
• Look out for one another and reach out to our Awareness Team if you’re feeling uncomfortable or if
you witness someone crossing another person’s boundaries. The Awareness Team will be present and
available throughout the entire night.
• Please be mindful of your own consumption and don’t push yourself beyond your limits. The venue will
be smoke-free including the dance floors. Smoking outside is fine, but please check in with the people
around you first.
• Autumn is flu season. Please only attend if you’re symptom-free, so we can avoid infecting others.
• You don’t have to wear a costume! However, if you do want to dress up, please keep the following in
mind: A person’s culture is not a joke or a trend! Check your privileges. Don’t dress up as something
that other people are discriminated against for being. Please also avoid realistic-looking wounds and
costumes depicting professions or roles that may be triggering, such as police officers, military
personnel or hunters. Costumes of this kind are not welcome here.
• You can’t tell someone’s gender just by looking at them. It’s best to always ask people for their
preferred pronouns.
