Wir (Menschen auf der Flucht) brauchen Rechte. Deshalb wurde 1951 die Genfer Flüchtlingskonvention (GFK) verabschiedet. Die GFK war und ist eine Antwort auf den Faschismus.
Doch wie sehen aktuelle Fluchtwege und die Rechte von uns heute aus? Über 2.000 km Stacheldraht an den EU-Grenzen. Pushbacks, Polizeigewalt, Haft – Menschen sterben auf der Flucht, ertrinken im Mittelmeer. Sie leben in Lagern unter haftähnlichen Bedingungen. Sie werden rassistisch angefeindet und sozial ausgegrenzt.
Mit der am 12. Juni europaweit in Kraft tretenden Reform des Gemeinsamen Europäischen Asylsystems (GEAS) sind weitere Angriffe auf unsere Rechtsstellung verbunden. Bereits heute werden Staaten als sichere Herkunftsländer eingestuft, in denen Queerfeindlichkeit an der Tagesordnung ist. Beispiele hierfür sind Georgien, Ghana und Senegal.
Den aktuellen politischen Entwicklungen sollten wir aktiv entgegentreten. Unser politischer Rettungsplan kann nur darin bestehen, zusammenzustehen, solidarisch zu handeln und emanzipatorische Ideen zu entwickeln, nach denen niemand – auch nicht in der Krise – zurückgelassen wird. In diesem Sinne rufen wir dazu auf, sich am 20. Juni 2026 ab 11 Uhr bei der Sammelstelle am Europaplatz einzufinden. Dort wird es weitere Informationen zu möglichen politischen Rettungsplänen geben.

11–12 Uhr:
Kundgebung: Europaplatz. Stoppen wir die autoritären Angriffe auf die Rechtsstellung von Geflüchteten. Kreative Aktionen. Wir bemühen uns um Übersetzungen (z.B. Flüsterübersetzung oder Texte)
12:30 Uhr:
CSD-Kundgebung, Freiburg, Platz der Alten Synagoge. Informationsstand und gemeinsame Teilnahme.
16:00–19:00 Uhr:

We (people on the move) need rights. That is why the Geneva Convention on Refugees (GCR) was adopted in 1951. The GCR was, and remains, a response to fascism.
But what do current flight routes and our rights look like today? Over 2,000 km of barbed wire at EU borders. Pushbacks, police violence, detention – people are dying whilst fleeing, drowning in the Mediterranean. They live in camps under prison-like conditions. They face racist hostility and are socially marginalised.
The reform of the Common European Asylum System (CEAS), which comes into force across Europe on 12 June, brings with it further attacks on our legal status. Even today, states where discrimination of queer people is the daily order are classified as safe countries of origin. Examples include Georgia, Ghana and Senegal.
We must actively oppose the current political developments. Our political rescue plan can only consist of standing together, acting in solidarity and developing emancipatory ideas, according to which no one – not even in a crisis – is left behind. With this in mind, we call on everyone to gather on 20 June at 11 am at the meeting point on Europaplatz. There will be further information on possible political rescue plans.
