Pünktlich zum Start in das frühlingshafte Feiertagswochenende lädt der Wagenplatz Radlager zu Lagerfeuer, kalten Getränken und Konzert!
Euch erwartet schräger Antifolk mit Bart, Klampfe und Mundharmonika von The Black Elephant Band. Das Solo-Antifolk-Folkpunk-Songwriter-Projekt aus Nürnberg liefert ungeschliffene, gestochen scharf auf den Punkt kommende, englischsprachige Songminiaturen voll von schrägem Humor und bitterbösen Weltbetrachtungen. Und das mit schlecht gestimmter Gitarre, schnörkellos rudimentär, die Stimme ein wütendes Knurren, kaum ein Lied länger als zweieinhalb Minuten. "Herrlich respektlos, einfach grandios hingerotzt"!
Unterstützung bekommt die Black Elephant Band von den Locals ROPES AND TREES. Die Zwei Folmusiker*innen aus Freiburg bringen Old-Time-Country, Folk und Blues auf die Bühne. Von uralten Songs über Verzweiflung und Empowerment bis zu frischen, eigenen Stücken mit Wut und Ironie. Es geht um starke Frauen, traurige Männer, verbotene Liebe, angesengte Augenbrauen, Tod und Zerstörung,
Widerstand und den Weltuntergang. Also das ganz normale Leben...
Zwischendrin und davor und danach gibts Drinks und Lagerfeuer

Barrieren:
Die Bar findet draußen statt. Die Bar und der Platz herum ist aber überdacht. Es wird ein Lagerfeuer geben. Es gibt eine barrierearme Toilette auf Radlager. Es gibt keine Treppen auf Radlager. Je nach Wetterbedingungen ist der Weg auf den Platz aber nur schwer zu berollen (Wiese und Hackschnitzel). Es wird keine explizite Awarenessstruktur geben, aber wenn du Unterstützung brauchst, kannst du gerne auf die Leute an der Bar zu kommen.

Just in time for the start of the spring holiday weekend, Wagenplatz Radlager invites you to a bonfire, cold drinks and a concert!
You can look forward to quirky antifolk with beards, guitars, and harmonicas from The Black Elephant Band. The solo antifolk-folk-punk-songwriter project from Nuremberg delivers raw, razor-sharp, to-the-point English-language song miniatures full of offbeat humor and bitterly cynical observations on the world.
And all this with a poorly tuned guitar, stripped-down and rudimentary, the vocals a furious growl, hardly a song longer than two and a half minutes. "Wonderfully irreverent, just brilliantly spat out"!
The Black Elephant Band will be supported by the local band Ropes and Trees. The two Folk musicians from Freiburg bring Old-Time-Country, Folk and Blues on stage. From age-old songs about despair and empowerment, to fresh and selfwritten songs about fury and irony. It's about strong women, sad man, forbidden love, singed eyebrows, death and destruction, resistance and the end of the world. In other words, just the normal life
In between, before, and after, there will be drinks and bonfire.

Accessibility:
The bar is located outdoors. However, the bar and the surrounding area are covered. There will be a bonfire. There is an accessible restroom at Radlager. There are no stairs at Radlager. Depending on weather conditions, however, the path to the venue may be difficult to navigate (grass and wood chips). There will be no dedicated support structure, but if you need assistance, feel free to approach the staff at the bar.
