We warmly invite you to a solidary iftar. We will prepare a vegan dish. Whether you are fasting or not, everyone is welcome. The room is wheelchair accessible and there is a room for prayers.
Let’s come together, take a breath and recollect ourselves in these difficult times of raising anti-muslim racism and state repression against Palestine solidarity.
Historically, the massacres against the Palestinians have increased during Ramadan. This year, Ramadan is spent with a very heavy heart, in Palestine and around the world. Despite the so-called “ceasefire” people are still killed daily in Gaza. Meanwhile settler violence continues in the West Bank.
📌 This Iftar will be focused on collecting funds to support our siblings in Gaza, as they need our support more than ever. All your generous donations will go to the Students for Palestine worldwide Gaza Fundraiser (https://chuffed.org/project/sfp-gaza-fundraiser).
We invite you to be part of this gathering as we collectively process these struggles, support one another, and discuss how we can further organise for Palestine, whether it is by protesting or raising funds.
