Where: Linkes Zentrum, Glümerstrasse When: Sunday 14th December, 14:00 The continuos threats of Trump on Latin America are one of the many tactics US American imperialism uses to reassert its hegemonic power over the whole continent. On the opposite end, there are social movements, grassroots organizations, indigenous, peasant, and Afro-descendant activists, who mobilise to promote ways of inhabiting the world beyond the ones imposed by Western developmentalism that generates inequality and threatens life. Revolutionäre Linke will give an input on imperialism from a Marxist perspective, exploring the relevance of revolutionary theory. La Olla will then give an input on the experience of Colombian social movements in resisting US imperialist threats.
