Hafsa Kanjwal is a historian of modern Kashmir and associate professor at Lafayette College. She is the author of Colonizing Kashmir (2023), which explores Indian state-building as colonial occupation.โฃโฃ
Ather Zia is a political anthropologist, poet, and Associate Professor at the University of Northern Colorado. She is the author of Resisting Disappearance: Military Occupation and Womenโs Activism in Kashmir (2019), a widely acclaimed study of womenโs activism under military occupation in Kashmir.โฃโฃ โฃโฃ Moderator Shraddha Joshi is a freelance journalist and MPhil Sociology student at the University of Cambridge, funded by the Harvard-UK Fellowship. She writes for Middle East Eye and focuses on transnational identity and diaspora politics, particularly in South Asia and Palestine.
