Seit 2015 haben Aktivist*innen des Kollektivs tierausbeuterische Industrien und Unternehmen ins Visier genommen. Sie blockierten Schlachthöfe (27 Blockaden in ganz Europa, die wirtschaftliche Schäden in Höhe von Tausenden von Euro verursachten), befreiten Tiere (3.400 Individuen wurden gerettet) und sabotierten Anlagen.
Indem wir unsere Körper, unsere Wut und unsere Solidarität in politische Werkzeuge verwandeln, stellen wir uns zwischen die Messer und die Tiere. Sich für die direkte Aktion zu entscheiden bedeutet, ein politisches Subjekt zu werden, das sich von den gelähmten Organisationen befreit hat. Die Anerkennung des Widerstandes der Tiere trägt zu unserer eigenen Ermächtigung an ihrer Seite bei.
Das Kollektiv 269 Libération Animale will außerdem das machohafte Image, das oft mit direkter Aktion verbunden ist, aufbrechen und einen Horizont von Handlungsmöglichkeiten eröffnen - für alle Körper- und Geschlechtsidentitäten.

Do you care about animal rights, but don't know what you can do besides protesting? Are you interested in direct action? Do you want to know how people repeatedly manage to free animals from the exploitative vortex of capitalism? Then come to the lecture!

Since 2015, activists from the collective have targeted animal-exploitative industries and companies. They have blockaded slaughterhouses (27 blockades across Europe, causing thousands of euros in economic damage), freed animals (3,400 animals were rescued), and sabotaged facilities. By transforming our bodies, our anger, and our solidarity into political tools, we place ourselves between the knives and the animals. Choosing direct action means becoming a political subject free from the paralyzed organizations. Recognizing the animals' resistance contributes to our own empowerment alongside them.
The 269 Animal Liberation collective also aims to break the macho image often associated with direct action and open up a horizon of possibilities for action – for all body and gender identities. The lecture will be held in German. Until May 30th 🖤🔥
